Eckert Fine Arts Cocktail Reception

Jane Eckert of Eckert Fine Arts in Kent will host a cocktail reception and a multi artist show that will include works of incredible artists such as Rauschenberg, Eric Forstmann, Jasper Johns and Roy Lichtenstein. Aston Martin will debut the exclusive Aston Martin DBS as seen in the latest James Bond movie, (Quantum of Solace).

Zachy's Wine Tasting
April 22, 2009
Zachy's Dr. Alex Javadi, international wine expert will host a 2005 Bordeux Wine Tasting. Betteridge Jewelers and Miller Motorcars of Greenwich will be co-hosting this event and showing off their latest and most coveted collectibles. Laurence Gartel who is considered the Father of Digital Art for over 34-years, will showcase his recent project, Ferrari Series. The renowned impressionist, Dennis Sheehan will also show his magnificent work.

Cocktails for a Cure at Highgrove

Highgrove hosted a fund-raising cocktail reception for The National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Connecticut Chapter, on January 29, 2009. Mr. James Amann, Speaker of the House for the State of Connecticut, and Dr. Fred D. Lublin, Director of the Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for MS at Mount Sinai, were the speakers and there was an exquisite fashion show by D. Lasprogata, who is an Italian designer, trained by the world renowned fashion designer, Mr. Valentino.
Maserati GranTurismo and Ferrari 599 Showcase

Dr. Javadi is involved in the prestigious wine auctions that Zachy's holds at renowned chef Daniel Boulud's restaurant in New York City and is a favorite among area wine aficionados.
Christie's Fine American Art Preview and Cocktail Reception

From 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, Highgrove will host Christie's American Art Specialist Ariana Hartsock for a preview of fine American paintings, drawings and sculpture. The event, co-sponsored by Miller Motorcars of Greenwich, will include featured works by such noted American artists as Martha Walter, Emma Fordyce MacRae, Preston Dickinson and Wolf Kahn.
A.E. Betteridge Jewelers' Simon Teakle "Conversation at Highgrove"
Recently, on August 6, Highgrove's "Conversations at Highgrove" series hosted former Christie's auctioneer Simon Teakle of A.E. Betteridge Jewelers, who discussed the history of gems and jewels to an audience of several dozen jewelry enthusiasts.
Author Soheir Khashoggi "Conversation at Highgrove"
This summer, Highgrove also hosted noted author of "Nadia's Song", Soheir Khashoggi, for a discussion of her work and the plight of women across the Arab world. This event kicked off the "Conversations at Highgrove" series, which will continue with additional exciting programs now being planned!
Irene Zelinsky Jewelry Preview
On June 26, distinguished jewelry designer Irene Zelinsky, a sought after jewelry designer with an international clientele, visited the Highgrove Sales and Design Center to host a jewelry show to benefit the Robert L. Fine Cancer Research Laboratory Foundation in New York. The show, co-sponsored with Connecticut Cottages & Garden Magazine, was a great success, generating a significant donation for cancer research!
Alliance CEO Martini Party
On June 19, Alan Oyugi, president of Stamford-based Alliance, held a martini party for close to 50 VIP clients and dignitaries at the Highgrove Sales and Design Center. The event was co-sponsored by New York Spaces magazine, a premier lifestyle magazine for upscale real estate in the New York metropolitan area.
Lorenz Baumer Jewelry Showcase
On May 22, Highgrove played host to famed French jewelry designer Lorenz Baumer, who touts several A-list celebrities and a loyal following of jewelry connoisseurs around the world as his clientele. During the event, Lorenz previewed a selection of his unique creations for a group of over 60 esteemed guests, A trained engineer, Lorenz cites architecture as one of his foremost design influences, making Highgrove the ideal backdrop for a showing of his impressive work.
